Default Honda CR-Z Teased Before Paris Unveiling

The HondaCR-Z is debuting a mid-cycle refresh at the Paris auto show at the end of the month. This fact has not stopped Honda from releasing some teaser photos.

In addition to new LED headlights, the revised model features an "S+" button that will likely integrate with the current model's driving modes, which are labeled as Sport, Econ and Normal. The 1.5 liter, 4 cylinder engine is expected to get a boos in power with the update.

Honda recently posted a teaser slideshow on its Japanese site showing a close ups of a revised CR-Z including some fierce looking new wheels.

The CR-Z is offered with a manual gearbox and CVT and has often been criticized for walking too much of a line between being sporty and a being "green." Perhaps this update will move it closer to sporty.

The more I look at it, the more I like it. I like how the lip is solid across the front instead of split like the current one is.

I'm not quite so sure, I prefer the sharper look to the outgoing bumper rather than the new one that looks like its a victim of cost cutting, less angles = less material used and inexpensive manufacturing.
Also, is it just me or has the bottom of the grille been tapered inwards more?

im loving the s+button would hope it could be a aftermarket engine upgrade for us present owners.button would look sweet on the opposite side of the steering wheel would match up with the push to start button.the paint job to be honest not keen on it reminds me of the ford fiesta burgundy.what was a artistic front end has now turned in to surplus of black plastic, sorry folks just my personnel opinion.

Wonder if the upgrade to the motor will be something done to the electric motor that might be able to be done to our older models.

I'm sorry, but I'm missing how the headlights are "new", comparing it to the Euro model below:
