Well another test of using ECON netted me 42.0 mpg, up from 41.2 with using SPORT but not that much of a gain. I did take an additional trip of 23 miles on the freeway to an import show and took surface streets back, so the route was a bit different but still a good mix like to and from work. I think the addition of the tires/wheels has affected the mpg's but I expected a slight drop for sure. I did get over 43 mpg's a couple weeks ago, so its got it in there, sometimes and when the weather finally turns the corner and we get summer grade, I'd like to think I'll be getting 45 mpg

Just for the hell of it though, I'm using NORMAL mode this tank to see how it goes, still using Shell V-power 93 also. The prices are coming down but not enough, I paid $4.37 for premium yesterday, what are you guys paying out there? (reg or premium)

Regular $4.059
Premium $4.299

I run 98% in Econ mode and am getting similar #s to yours. I am running DWS 215/45/17s in the front and 225/45/17s in the rear. I suspect they hurt my mileage a little but I love the look.

I live in central Washington. We get 6 to 7 inches of rain per year. That said, the rain I have been in has been no issue at all. These tires work well in the wet and the dry. I look forward to trying them in snow.

Had on my Fit 2 winters ago and we got hit with 2' of snow and I was out when the blizzard was 4 hours old and the DWS' got me home in one piece, through drifts and everything, awesome tires in the snow! (just to be clear, I'm not saying I went through 2' of snow with them, that's what we ended up with!)

The last week I used NORMAL and this time I got 43.0 mpg (OBC showed 42.0 mpg) so its up 1 mpg but that could be because the weather is warming up a bit and/or summer grade (SB, do you know if we've gotten it yet?)

I'm now using SPORT on this current tank as it seems to keep going up as I go from ECON, NORMAL and now SPORT. I've done this before but it was when I had the completely stock set-up, so now that I've got the larger tires/wheels and intake, well, we'll see how it goes.

The tank before this I got 38 mpg and this tank I got 40 mpg. Yes summer gas is here. I notice that the ecu is readjusting to the high intake temps and seeing my fuel trims lean out. I hope to see better than 42 mpg this summer but I might have to slow down.

Driving down the Interstate at 70 mph and seeing 60 mpg on the ultra gauge is really cool to see.

KA, you really need to take a drive on the interstate and put the cruise control on at 60 mph and use the mile markers to calibrate the miles driven. So you might have to subtract or add to the miles to get the real miles. My car is off about 5 thousands so for every thousand miles I have 5 miles that I did not drive.

SB, I'm sure that would give me the "real" numbers but I'm taking a bit more stop and go due to construction on 53 (don't want my car getting all dirty) I'm basically taking Woodward to 63rd, over to Belmont to where it turns into Findley to Roosevelt to Army Trail and then onto 53 northbound and yeah, I do 60 mph on the freeway (stupid 55 mph speed limit, what is this, OHIO!) I take the freeway all the way home though as I wanna get home and don't mind paying 2 tolls, better than 4 every single day, right.

My OBC started at 45.3, went down to 42.5 and is now back up to 44 mpg and that was with this heat today and using the a/c everywhere, how about that. Not sure if I can check the mile marker thing though but I do know that when I have the cruize on @ 60 mph the speed is 62 mph (used my Garmin to check it) The thing is this though, my current tires are taller, so you'd think the speedo would show lower and not higher, I don't get it. My current tires are 225-45-17 and stock is 195-55-16, hmmm Oh and don't forget this current tank I'm using SPORT.

I am fortunate to be able to run the interstate with 1 toll each way. Even though they are repairing a section, traffic still goes 70 mph at least.

I was just saying check to see if its off by doing 60 mph you should go 1 mile in a minute. All my mpg is miles/gallons used. My gauge is accurate after readjustments but I like to reset it every tank. When is the next another level car show? or did I miss it.

The next show is July 28th and I'm going to try and get the day off and work my off day which is Monday, we'll see how it goes. I've heard one of the Underground Racing Lambo's will there, 1500 hp and all!
