Coming back to G'ville, same route, two hours later and the total average mpg was 45mpg, or the return mileage was about 40mpg -- head wind. I had filled with pure gasoline, not the 10% ethanol blend that most stations sell. |

I ran it in the Normal mode both ways. I've found it easier to control the throttle in Normal and Sport than in the Econ mode. I think a good bit of the 50mpg was a combination of the tail wind, the lack of a lot of automobile traffic, and just enough 18-wheelers to get a little bit of a draft from.
