Default convert: L/100km <---> MPG

To help facilitate discussions between different countries and measurements, here is a link to a Calculator that converts between L/100km (Metric) and MPG (Imperial) and vice versa.

l/100km to MPG / Litre / MPG / MPG to l/100km / Liter / Convert fuel efficiency - eForecourt.com

you can also convert from MPG (UK Gallon) to MPG (US Gallon) by using the Following Method:

enter MPG (original value) and you get a value in L/100km, put the value of the answer into the first value box and change the drop down menu to the Opposite Gallon type. you will now get the MPG in the opposite Gallon measurement.

You can also hold the M/KM button on your car for about a second and it converts everything to that.

Google works best for me. Just type like "7l/100km to mpg" on search and it brings out google calculator conversion. Also works with other units as well

I find the following website more practical:

Unit Conversions

U can convert from metric to UK and US measures in one go.

235/x = y, with x and y being US MPG and L/100km - works both ways, obviously.

Only cars that are primarily configured for miles do have the M/KM button.
