Talking Best Round Trip So Far: 60.5 MPG

I drive a ~19 mile round trip every day. I always average 58 MPG or more, but the other day I managed to get 60.5 MPG. I still think I can get more, but I don't get to drive the CR-Z much, my wife usually drives it while I take the CRX HF.

Carzee, please don't click on the MPG section just to make comments like your last two. Keeping your battery charged is the main thing, I passed a car doing 60 in a 25 MPH zone on my trip today and still got 58.4.

bheinen74, Our CR-Z is a 6-Speed, Eco Mode, Regular 87, 45psi

That's incredible mileage for sure, have you figured out the actual mileage using the calculator just to see. I'm not doubting you but that is usually high!

I'm jealous of the 60MPG, my guess for the 2mpg bump is weather. My average went up last couple of tanks, still about 30% worse than yours...

Yeah, driving the Dragon everyday surely doesn't make you a grandpa Speaking of the Dragon, we've got our annual run down there the 2nd weekend in October (sorry for the thread jack) and I wonder where I should put up the invite on our site, any idea's guys?

BTW, my average while on the Dragon/Skyway last year was 23 mpg, pretty good IMO considering that the car was living between 4-6k most of the time and heavy braking too!
