Question Any experience with Brakeperformance.com rotors?

Just wondering...

Has anyone ever ordered brake rotors from this website before?

Premium Dimpled and Slotted Brake Rotors

If you scroll down 1/2 way down the page, their "Premium Dimpled & Slotted Rotors" have a Lifetime, Unlimited Mileage Warranty against warping and cracking (only a 2 year warranty on their Drilled & Slotted rotors).

I've been eyeballing these for months now; and I'm thinking of buying the Fronts FIRST in an RSX / S2000 size, along with RSX Caliper Brackets to complete my own "Big Brake Kit".

If everything works well after a while, I'd order the rears to match in a stock size. I think the price is VERY reasonable, and the warranty also makes them appealing.

Keep us posted. They seem good and reasonably priced.

I will...

Also, in my search for "what else I could get for around the same amount of cash" I found genuine Stop-Tech rotors for the same price...the only downfall was that they only had a 90-day warranty, and that they're actually cross-drilled and not "dimpled".

From what I understand, dimpled is preferred to dissipate heat, brake dust and water; without being prone to cracking like stop-drilled rotors. Plus, you shouldn't have drilled rotors turned to machine-out warping. With the brake performance rotors, I would just get new rotors if they warp.

The way I see it, since the calipers on the CR-Z are smaller (and therefore a little bit lighter) than the RSX Type-S calipers, but use the exact same piston, it'd be better to stick with stock (already painted gloss black) calipers. I would have to buy RSX caliper BRACKETS, which are only a whopping $15.00 each. I would also have some effin' SICK looking black and silver dimpled and slotted rotors for better braking during Auto-Cross and bigger "wow factor" visually.

All this would be about $450.00 TOPS.

That new Wilwood "Dyna-Lite" set that other people have discussed is $700 +. No thanks.

I had a full set of cross-drilled on my 2005 Crossfire SRT-6. I liked them, and they performed great. When I sold the car, it had 25,000 miles on the rotors and they never warped or showed any signs of wear. I'm guessing they would go 100,000 miles easily.

On a side note, during those 25,000 miles, the car went to Tail of The Dragon 3 times, saw drag racing regularly and some road racing at Summit Point and VIR.
