These are the Eibach coilover suspension kit for the CR-Z, the Pro Street-S. When Honda released the CR-Z, they gave away a few models to aftermarket parts manufacturers and tuners, and Eibach was one of the companies that received a CR-Z to develop parts for. I was really excited to hear they were going to develop a coilover kit for the CR-Z. I have toured Eibach's headquarters and US manufacturing base in Corona several times, and their engineering, manufacturing and quality control are top notch. I owned an Integra Type R before the CR-Z, and have personal (HPDE/racetrack) experience with many different manufacturer's coilover products, from Mugen, Koni/Ground Control and PIC, and hands on experience with other major brands (Tein, Zeal, Buddy Club). When I opened the box for the Eibach coilovers, I was immediately impressed with the amazing quality throughout. I can't wait to install them. I'll just get on to a few of the specifications, and to the photos: Monotube shock absorbers, rebuildable here in the USA. The shaft of the shock is very beefy. The spring rates stock are 275lbs/in front and rear. They use the ERS (Eibach Race Springs) so you can choose any spring rate you want. The fronts and rears both have helper springs, with a metal collar to keep the two springs aligned, to prevent the spring from becoming un-seated should the suspension become completely unloaded. They have been tested out on the racetrack several times, and they played around a lot with the spring rates and damper rates to find the best overall ride quality and performance balance (I was present when they did a lot of the testing at Buttonwillow Raceway, so I can attest to their extensive real-world testing). Thanks so much Tony, Phong and everyone at Eibach! I should be installing them in a few weeks and will take more photos and give plenty of feedback. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Also note (2nd picture) that the upper hole on the front shock steering knuckle mount is elongated allowing you to adjust the camber. Nice
And those spring rates work out to about 4.9 kg/mm which is seems to be a pretty good rate for both street and track. I'm assuming the dampers are adjustable (it doesn't say)? (Still like my HiperMax IIIs but these might be a good alternative.)

The dampers are not adjustable. We will make an adjustable version for our CR-Z in the very near future. If there is a market for these we will offer them to the CR-Z community as well.

Getting ready to install, hopefully this week, so I went through and made sure I had all the nuts and bolts ready to go. This way it's a plug-and-play affair and won't have to disassemble the stock front shocks for the bearing and nut that is required.
The stock bearing and nut required from the OEM suspension: ![]() And new bolts and bushings elsewhere: ![]() ![]()
