Question Long and stiff

Springs obviously.

I'm investigating springs and have something of a conundrum. My priority for the modification is a reduction in body roll. Looking through all the Springs Springs Springs on the market, I'm thinking Swift Sports are the best option. HKS Kansai are also pretty good. The problem is, I don't care to lower the car all that much.

Someone is going to ask why, so here's the short of it.
  1. I live in a land with broken pavement, pot holes, frost heaves, speed bumps, dead squirels, live squirels, undead squirels, etc.
  2. My shocks will likely remain stock (for a while) and I don't want them overstressed.
  3. Call me old-fashioned, but I don't want to mess with the geometry when we don't have full control over adjustments.

I have a feeling the answer to this next question is as simple as hitting <shift + 4> but I have to ask. Is there such a thing as a spacer or shim that can seat between the spring and either mounting point? I'll accept a drop 1" if I have to, but I'd prefer to reduce that to around 0.5" if possible.

Thanks in advance!

I'm taking the silence in this thread to mean that no one is aware of a shim, spacer, or adjustment that can be used to reduce the 1+ drop of the stiffer springs?

I figured as much. It's an odd request.

You can get the Ground Control CC kit. They're adjustable from 0.5" to 3.0" drop and they're about the cost of springs. They use Eibachs.

I love you, man!

That is exactly what I'm looking for. Funny that I've seen mention of Ground Control, but never thought to look them up. They have a kit of the Fit. Nothing specific to the CR-Z. Eibach's Pro Kit springs are a little softer than what I was looking for, but Ground Control's page says they offer various rates.

Anyway, at least I have a lead on something within budget and designed to do what I want. I'll have to send them a message to see what's what.

Update: Apparently, GC does make them specifically for the CR-Z. They aren't listed on their site with all the other Honda cars, but it's mentioned on their blog. Now that I know what they're called, I also found half a dozen threads here. So, I'm a big dummy. The answer has been under my nose the whole time. I just need to find out which spring rate are available.
