Default Cusco Upper mounts installed

Hey guys,

I posted this photo in the exterior mod section with some aero parts that I recently received, but I figured it would be good to post here as well and also post my review on these things.

To be honest, I wasn't sure these pieces were necessary for what I intend on using the car for (street driving). But they do look nice when the hood is open and I do have a show car so it helps a bit. I was offered a decent price on the set so I ended up going for it.

I installed them earlier this week, and its a pretty straight forward install. Today was my first time on the road with them installed and I've already noticed a huge difference. The front end is noticeably stiffer and turns are a bit more controlled. I guess those huge rubber mounts flex a lot and kill some of the handling up front.

There's not really much to show other than the top of the tower, I didn't get any install pics unfortunately so there's not much to look at.

Thoughts on these?

Those are really nice.. I was actually in the process of making my own until I saw this... guess the Japanese beat me too it but I'm not sure if I would pay 300 dollars for them.

Talking Dead Sexy!!!

And I too, would like a set of these...only not for $300. I would, however, pay $150 for them in Anodized Gunmetal or Green with "BASIS SPORT TUNING" Laser Engranved on top.

These look great and serve great function. Although for the street I prefer the stock 'slop' of the rubber mounts. 300 isn't bad tho considering ones for MacPherson strut type coilovers cost more, and you are getting the quality of Cusco spherical bearing that lasts, that is if these are that type. Can't tell exactly from the picture..
