Default Need help with rear spacers

I'd like to get some rear spacers to widen the stance a bit. I've found some quality ones that are specifically made for our types of Hondas (not universal). I guess my question is, I've heard people either have to extend or cut off the bolts on certain types of cars. I'd like to get at least a 1" spacer.. maybe 2 (don't know how that would look..). What would be required of me for both of those lengths?

Thanks everyone.

1 inch is easy (20-24mm) as the spacer should come with it's own built in bolts. Same with 2 inch (48mm) but even 30mm would probably stick out and is a bit to far for me to feel safe. I'd rather change out my wheels to cover the extra inch. But again that's going to poke.

Ok, so 1" should be safe then to get? And that's just a simple bolt on, right? I wouldn't have to dremel off the existing bolts?

No modification to existing bolts is necessary. Make sure the spacers u r getting have pressed in bolts and either have or can buy the hub centric ring.

30mm is perfect for the rears... alot of our customers go with the 30 and some go with 25mm.

For the stock 16" tires - right?

Edit: would like to see some pics of stock 16's with 30mm or 25mm spacers..

Honda 17" - thinking 20mm is as far as you want to go without potential rubbing issues..

Stupid question, but what's the difference between the H&R spacers and these? Not trying to be a cheap skate, but I'm just curious why the prices are so drastically different.

A critical component - there are horror stories about spacers and a most of your chain tire stores won't touch them. But, they are in the business of selling rims/rubber.

Still again - Not a good idea to have a failure at highway speeds..

I don't see any difference on the surface - but as such a critical component - I personally feel better with going with a proven product that I know has been R&D and T&E'd..

Edit: Searched the Titan Wheel Accessories web site - and don't see any details on their spacers where I could say they would fit a CR-Z - e.g. bore/bolt pattern/size etc.. The Ebay seller (although advertising for the CR-Z fit) does have a disclaimer on em in-as-much as the fit.... and doesn't provide details.. I'd be wary.. But it is just me..

Talk to BasisSportTony - should be able to hook you up on a good deal..

That link you sent me was like 82mm hub bore. I'm pretty sure ours is like 64mm

As Scotty said. Tony or one of the vendors can hook you up with the correct ones if you aren't sure.
