Default Update from Eibach!!!

I just spoke with the R&D manager at Eibach regarding the Sportlines for our car.
Bad news: He said no word on drop amount or spring rates yet because they are still testing.
Good news: They are aiming at an August release so we will know soon enough!!!

This makes me sad that I leased....
Dropped my other vehicle on Eibachs, and the performance and aesthetics were way worth the cost. They make solid products.

Install these for the duration of your lease then go back to stock at the end. I know lots of people that do similar things.

You work for a Honda dealership, there's no way that they may find out, or this could break terms of lease?

If this is the case... I may go with the Eibachs, but no internal changes...
I really want to get rid of the body roll, this thing would be a corner master with tighter springs.

I'm not doing any major mods unless I buy the car out.
I'm just doing suspension, cosmetics, maybe a few performance bolt-on's...
And working for a Honda dealership means I dont really have anything to worry about.

Mine is technically not a "lease" per se'....
It's a smart-buy. I still have the option to buy-out or turn-in.
I'm still limited to x-amount of miles per year.
Only difference being is the title is in my name.

So I can pretty much do whatever I want for now.
But come time if I decide to turn it in, it would have to be bone-stock.
I have a few years to have fun before I make a choice though.

Um... that's just a lease, isn't it? I have the same setup.
I'm just concerned who is going to install these springs for me now. Definitely want to get.

It's nice to see new stuff on the horizon, but the Eibach Prokit is already out, and it is a much more liveable drop. Sportlines are usually for people who want the "slammed" look.

My roommate in college had the sportlines on his Eclipse, and he blew three of his four struts within a few months because the drop was just too much, and the suspension travel was just way off...

The sportlines are definetly more aggressive. They have stiffer spring rates and around 1/2" to 3/4" more drop in some cases. But dont take this the wrong way....it was a bit foolish of him to run sportlines on oem struts. Eibach will be the first to tell you that sportlines should be run with aftermarket struts. Sportlines are great when used correctly. It's not their fault your friend doesnt read directions...
