Default CST coilovers?

I was browsing on my facebook and saw tanabe posted something about CST coilovers... my friend works at a local shop says they are distributing this coilover brand from Japan... and happens to have an application for CR-Z ...

Anyone know about this coilovers? Somewhat interesting... this came out of nowhere for me =]

Indeed... that's the first thing I asked too. A suspension company distributing another company's product... HumMmmmmmmmm

CSTホームページトップ

spoke to Tanabe, they say they're just distributing for them... maybe they're just using it as another way of income... but the more I look at them the better they seem, they seem to me like a valid option if you're interested oh fyi it appears we can get those for you

well, I'm going to be honest. I've never heard of those kind of coil-overs in my life.
And i have a bunch of buddies including my boyfriend which do not sponsor that brand.
I don't know why never planned on asking. lol But If I were you I would go with K- Sport that is what i have. The ride is tremendously smooth and they have awesome handling when i sometimes like to take my turns or you as might as well go with BC racing as of what my boyfriend has on his Mazda Speed 3.

why would Tanabe distribute a company that would be a direct competition to their coilover? what are the differences?

I think they're just trying to get another source of income... but I'm not %100 sure

Zangetsu: I'll PM you a price a little later when Tanabe opens (I'm not sure what discount I get on those)

found this on their website. monotube seems to be the difference because the tanabe ones are twintube

Quote:
CST offers 15-way adjustable dampening, height adjustability, full threaded single damper (monotube), pillow ball mount, and wide range of spring rates for your application.
