Default Brakes, are there any options.

Are there any big brake options available for the CR-Z yet? The stock brakes overheat easily when pushed hard.

His rotors and pads, and there is a brembo pkg. I'm waiting to see if the wilwoods come out. Someone mentioned maybe end of April.

Are there any caliper options that do not require new rotors? Seeing as it is a Honda, I would think that there would be some directly swappable unit from another car, maybe a type r of something.

My main issue is heating the brake fluid. I am going to use a DOT3 racing fluid, and I am tempted to make a duct to the brakes as they currently have nothing.

Maybe I can get away with doing just that, maybe.

^ the DC5 calipers work with the stock DC5 brackets but im pretty sure you need DC5 rotors also... someone did this swap in his intro thread but i forget who it was.

So, I'm not a Honda guy before this. When I search DC-5 brakes on ebay, I find a brembo setup, not the calipers pictured in the thread above.

yeap, front calipers and rotors from a dc5-s work without any modifications, you get really nice pedal feel as well.
