Default Camber adjustment with 1" lowering Springs

Can the stock parts be adjusted to handle the camber change when new springs that will result in a 1" drop are used?

This is my first "lowering" of a vehicle..

If I need to buy a camber kit in anticipation of a issue whose should I look at?

Help please?

You don't need a camber kit.

What set-up do you have on your CRZ?
Do you have even tire wear?
I'm interested b/c I have seen it quoted that with a 1" drop the camber could be out by 1Deg. As I previously noted this is the first time I've lowered a vehicle... is 1Deg alot or within the usual set-up tolerances. How will that affect handling etc.

In my mind I tend to agree with your blanket statement.. but I'd rather just know for sure, particularly so that I know I'm not going to trash a set of tires for the sake of $100 or so.

Interested in further comments..

Thanks

RJ

because of the torsion beam the rear camber doesnt change much. also someone on this board had positive camber dialed in stock... considering those two factors , i think the rear will be fine with a 1in drop. As for the front, hondas arent known to change camber too much in the front with a drop. Im not lowered yet but i seriously think you will be fine.

1" drop? - you'll be fine. If tire wear is a worry of yours don't modify or lower your car.

You'll be fine without a camber kit. I'd still get an alignment, though.

Ok thanks for the info guy.

I asked Jason (the guy running the GB on the Swift Springs) for his opinion too.. sounds like install with alignment is it... and then usual tire rotations..

Concur. Have a box of Eibachs sitting in my garage waiting to be installed. Talking to my local speed/performance shop down the street - a realignment (or at least a check) is definitely needed after a drop. Camber kit will not be necessary.
