Default HKS Kansai Chassis bar issue

i received a HKS Kansai rear under bar chassis brace for my USDM CRZ. based on pictures you can find online, it's kinda hard to tell where this bar mounts. well, upon receiving the bar, the instructions provided have pictures which clearly show it goes inside the hatch under the spare. there in lies the problem. our USDM cars come with a spare. JDM and EUDM, the spare is optional. our USDM have a spare tire chassis brace that is very substantial. The OEM tire holder is a 4 bolt, "T" shaped brace. here are some pics and you will see the Kansai bar still wrapped in plastic. IMHO, there is No need for the Kansai brace on USDM CRZ's. any UK people interested in buying this Kansai bar? LOL!

here is the image on Bulletproofs website.

That sucks. I would think that the dealer would have realized that it wouldn't fir when they saw where they were shipping the item to.

perhaps another company will make a nicer looking replacement in the "T" shape for some of us in the U.S.A. who do want the spare tire in the rear like on track days or dd. T1R/A&J Racing i hope you guys take note! I'd buy it.

But what's the weight advantage/disadvantage vs. the USDM one?
