I put together a wishlist for the OEM RSX Type-S Brake upgrade, incase anyone was having trouble finding parts. I know the pads are optional I just like EBC Redstuff lol

Amazon.com

The Caliper Brackets are low on stock so you might have to choose some other buying options...the total cost with shipping and tax was $253.75

So these items, and still use the oem crz caliper on the rsx bracket? What do you do about the oem crz abs dust shield?

Im in the uk, so am i right in thinking over here, i could use s2000 bracket, ep3 calipers and discs(rotors) for an equivalent uk set up for a bbk?

Yes and you get rid of the dust shield.

You don't need the calipers, just the pads and rotors.

There is nothing available to replace the rear calipers. All you can do are rotors and pads for the rear. I think having a torsion beam rear suspension kinda killed the chances of a rear brake swap with another Honda... Even the Euro FN2 Type-R, which also had a torsion beam suspension, had "regular" rear calipers.

:glare: of course...

so for my clarification and for anyone else that reads this thread...the front can follow the wish list posted in post #1

and the rear's can be upgraded using THIS POST

ROTARS =
Centric specs for read Caliper on CRZ. Anything with these specs should fit.

...pads that fit an S2000, front as well as the rear, since the CR-Z acually uses the same rear pads as an S2000.QUOTE]

REAR CALIPARDS NONE UPGRADEABLE

Correct?

And will that rear upgrade work with the stock 16"
...You'll probably need a spacer depending on your wheels.

The spacer is for the front only if you are running a caliper with opposed pistons, like the Spoon or HPD. These calipers naturally stick out further, because there are pistons on both sides of the rotor, so clearance to the wheel spokes are now an issue. This is all dependent on the wheel though and there is no sure way to know what the clearance is like until you have the wheel mounted... Single piston calipers, like the stock CR-Z setup or the RSX-S rotor/bracket upgrade, don't have wheel clearance issues like that.

The rear will never need a spacer to clear brakes as there is really nothing you can do for them except upgrade them with performance S2K pads, CR-Z specific aftermarket rotors and SS brake lines.
