I will stay stock even though lowering it many benefits but I care a lot about having a comfortable ride.

Default Aftermarket Lowering

Trust me the stock is not so comfortable on the high way at all.
For me it doesn't need lowering, it feels like already done

I've had cars that were slammed in the past but this one will be a mild drop.

If modifying the engine voids the warentee will dropping the suspension? I would like a mild drop nothing too agressive but who knows.

modifying anything on the car voids warranties but not all parts of it... for example, you can add lowering springs and that voids any premature suspension or tire wear...

when the current Si first came out, they had a warranty replacement on tires, yes TIRES... they said the camber was set too negative and was wearing the inside of the tires faster than normal... unfortunately for me my car was lowered within the first two weeks of me owning it and that voided me from getting new tires

I see so even if i do lower the suspension if something goes wrong with the suspension its not covered by honda, but it should be covered by the suspension company i buy from.

not exactly... suspension parts are considered "wear & tear" parts kinda like belts, clutches, tires, etc... they are designed to wear down after using it...

the type of "warranty" you will get from aftermarket companies is if their part is defective or breaks... so if you just buy springs and your shocks go bad, nobody will warranty it b/c Honda says you modified the suspension resulting in premature wear... and the aftermarket company puts a disclaimer on parts like that which gets them out of replacing it either...

the disclaimer is sorta like when buying an exhaust, they say "For Racing Purposes ONLY. Not intended for street use." but everyone still buys them and uses them on their street car knowing they can get a ticket for noise pollution and if ur in a place with emissions testing, possibly fail the test...

personally, i'm lowering the CR-Z and i'm gonna modify the engine... it's good to know someone at a dealership, particularly a service guy, so they can help you get things covered under warranty when they wouldn't be covered normally b/c you modified it...
