Default Blowing a shock from 2 fat guys?

My dad and his friend drove my car home on a 3 hour drive. My dad is 250 and his friend is 350. When I got home my dad said my car rode like s*** with my new swift springs. I looked at my rear struts and they were covered in oil. I can't tell if it rides any better or worse, but after I saw the oil covered struts I freaked. Are my shocks blown? How can I test it?

I didn't notice the oilyness until after the trip home. Does tein make struts? Help!

Quite possible for that 600lb load on lowering springs and mucked up roads to blow a shock(s). Gonna hafta (most likely) put it on a rack, and check em out or take it in someplace - local garage to have someone look.

Thought the weight limit was somewhere around 450 or so? That's very likely that it's blown. I'd love to see those massive guys in the CRZ. Probably funny as hell. Hope you get your car fixed without too much trouble though.

How can I tell if they're blown? Also is oem replacement the way to go? Or does another company like tein make struts?

Ha! Our cars might be one of the few cases where a "NO FAT CHICKS" sticker expresses a legitimate concern...

Should I just take the springs off and see if warranty will replace it?

^ Not something I would do.. Karma thing.. I don't know, does the swift springs require a bumber stop trim?? Would be indicative of having aftermarket springs even if putting back the OEM stock..
