blinking red

I think i might have a problem. After I lock my doors, on the left hand side (where the Park, drive signals light up..the airbag section continues to blink. At first I thought it was the antitheft signal but thats at the center next to the cdplayer. This blinking red signal is not the transmission (at first I thought it was which scared me) but the one right next to it on the right. Does any one have any ideas what is going on here. Please let me know. Thanks.

What does your multi information display say? If its the drivers srs or passenger side airbag you would see a light on the left side of the console in a usdm crz.

If its the passenger center air bag the warning indicator would be in the center near the radio. I've had the passenger side airbag blink on and off mysteriously. I figured out it was when I had groceries or my backpack sitting in the passenger seat. A marginal amount of weight that was causing the problem.

There is actually two blinking security lights. One for the stereo and one for the car. Why I don't know. Next time you see it, unlock your car you will notice it will go out but the stereo one will continue to blink. Turn the car on and the stereo one goes out.
