Well I didnt personally own a hybrid civic, but my girlfriend did. If you are looking to get into a z for the speed factor, your looking into the wrong car. Now if your looking to get something a bit more sporty, and exciting, that corners well, then your looking at the right car.
My girlfriends hybrid seemed to get better gas mileage than my z even when we pushed the hell out of it. But it just lacks any sort of excitement behind the wheel. Go test drive the z and youll be able to experience how fun it is first hand. |

My wife still drives her Civic Hybrid but refers to my car as the "cool car" now.
It's definitely more exciting and the lack of hybrid lag in sport mode is super refreshing - like K20 said go take a test drive and check it out for yourself.
