The MSRP includes the destination fee - so taking that into account, you're paying $21444.74... A savings of $1080.26 off MSRP. This is a -very- good deal. Pretty much everyone has been paying MSRP, and then maybe getting a few freebies thrown in.
So, it looks like you're saving about $450 off the price, AND getting tinted windows and a "protection package" (whatever THAT is...) thrown in - definitely a good deal. |

I would have them get rid of the "protection fee". That is nothing more than a wax job and a can of Scotch Guard and you can do the same for $50.00 and a Saturday. "Inspection fee" sounds like garbage too. The car gets inspected at port of entry and again once it arrives at the dealership.

edit: the protection package also included cargo tray, splash guard and wheel locks. I know it's b.s. but I don't believe both dealer is going to lower or get rid of it. This is really not a good time to buy Honda CRZ since it seem like the production level isn't up yet but I can't wait any longer since I going to need a car in about two weeks. |

FWIW, I called just about every dealer in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Killeen, Dallas, and a few other smaller places in Nov. to get a CRZ. Absolutely none of them even tried to beat pricing of other dealers, if they even had one. They straight up all told me MSRP. They weren't bluffing. None of them called me back. :\
I eventually got one in Austin where I live before it even rolled off the truck. There were two and the other one was already spoken for! :O |
