Tax credit?
for a u.s. federal income tax credit? Web link appreciated. I turned up nothing with a quick search.

No. Hybrid tax credit is not available any more. If you itemize, you may be able to add sales tax as a deduction.

Yea, if the State Sales tax is still allowed as a deduction in general (usually always is for major purchases), all your state sales tax paid on all purchases are allowed. I use Quicken and split all transactions to capture sales tax paid on everything and deduct. At 8% here is WA state. Adds up. It seems to be up in the air each year. Not sure if it will apply to 2011.
