Question Check Tire Pressure light on

Today morning i saw "Check Tire Pressure" light on. Before going to the gas station, i thought i better check what pressure should i maintain. But while reading other posts, i came to know that there is "Nitrogen" in the tire and not the normal air.

If i go to the gas station and fill the normal air, will that cause any problem?

Do i have to get Nitrogen only filled in the tires? ($$$)

Please advice.

The dealer charged me $60 to put nitrogen in. Been adding air since. Don't notice a difference.

Honda wants you to run 30 psi, but most of us run a bit higher than that. I'm at 34.

Unless you purchased it, you most likely do not have "Pure" Nitro in your tires.

The air we breath and put into our tires is 78% Nitrogen. I believe what happens when the tires get cold is the oxygen contracts reducing air pressure. It then expands as you are driving and warming up. Benefits of pure Nitro gas in the wheels is arguable.

Only thing you need to do is increase your airpressure by a couple of pounds in the winter - Recommend about 36lbs of good old air from your service station.
