People Drive Terrible Around the CRZ - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

I notice people drive like sh*t around me when I'm in the CRZ vs. when I'm in my truck. Especially dudes with giant F250s and Silverados. They love to ride my ass when they see a hybrid symbol on the back, then gun it around me. When I drive my lifted Ranger around, I get the 'cool truck' respect from other truck drivers and they don't act like such **ss***s.

Anyone else notice this, or is it just a problem in Texas?

Ever since I was rear ended, EVERYONE drives too close to me.

I think idiot's are everywhere. I get either there right up your behind or they stay far behind because they respect it's a new and different car. Lately I notice this with a lot of Chevy owners not all of them but the majority.

I get more road respect in this car than I ever got from a F250 looking down at my little ranger... I thought only girls thought lifted rangers were cool. Then again, I'm in MN, and not too many people get the chance to blow by me in their big trucks because they are too chicken to go 15 mph over the speed limit to do it

Yes, I get that all the time here in MO... Always a-holes in trucks or SUV's.. Same as you said.. they see my hybrid sticker and ride my ass.
The other day (this is a repost, as I alrady btched about it, so Ill keep it short) I came to a light.. Truck pulled behind me.. Stops.. Then proceeds to pull around me to the right onto the shoulder! Light turns green and I stomp the gas and don't let the guy over.. He continues driving on the shoulder trying to get in front of me and flicks me off!! WTF!
It's not like Im a slow driver and he had a reason to get around me.. He wasn't even behind me until I was stopped at the stop light.. URG.. he had balls on his truck too.. that just shouts "IM A SUPER HUGE A_HOLE"

But yeah.. every time I've had trouble w/ people driving like a crazy person around me has been a truck.. and I never had this problem before I had a hybrid badge on my car. I dont know what these people are so afraid of, but the hybrids drive them into a frenzy!!!

No problem here, though it seems every fourth car is a Prius these days.
