Window "scratches" - Honda CRZ Forum: Honda CR-Z Hybrid Car Forums

This probably sounds weird. I've had my car for almost a year now and in the past 2-3 mo I've noticed these discrete marks on most of the windows that dont seem to come off with cleaner. Looks like they may have been scratched somehow but cant imagine how. Anyone else notice this are have thoughts???

I noticed something similar, but in my case it was the sealant I put on my windows.. after 6 or so months I noticed what appeared to be very fine scratches.. but it was actually just scratches in the sealant.. Soap and water wouldn't remove it.. Only a lot of rubbing w/ alcohol finally dissolved the sealant.

Otherwise I know someone who lives in the dessert and they've had to have their windshield replaced after a dust/sand storm, because that really did scratch the glass.

Ceramic countertop cleaner and some elbow grease with a clean rag does wonders to polish out small scratches in glass.
