Exclamation Removal of shark fin

Hey people.

I'm getting my roof wrapped in CF vinyl this friday, and the shop asked me if i could remove the shark fin antenna to avoid an extension in the vinyl.
Does anyone in here know how i remove this? Could figure it out on my own ofc, but the first snow has come, it's cold outside, and have no garage to stay in before the wrapping on friday, so i really wish i knew, in advance, exactly how it is done...... Help?

Thnx

Painted the middle of my car at honda, and they took the antenna out painted it separately, and the roof linning from the inside was all taken out,so its fairly easy but it takes a long time, and make sure you wear clean cloves or the stuff gets dirty easely.

Just pops off, you'll lose the silicone that seals it though.

Not so sure i will have this removed, due to warranty issues if a waterleakage accidently should occur after wrapping. The firm performing the wrap is no authorized garage so i will not trust them to get it all sealed up again while reassembling it.
At least since they can't even remove it themselves.
They'll just have to wrap around it and make an "invisible" extension/seam on the backside of the fin. IF i can't get a place at the garages for a short time to disassemble and reassemble it myself.
Thnx for the link Saulatations... It was helpful...
