Default Avatars

I have tried uploading a picture for my avatar and the image shows in the CP but then the screen says no file loaded, and as a result does not appear in posts. I also would like to create my own graphic like the one many use on the site that shows MPG info and a picture and a description of your car. Sample to the left. Anyone have any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Can't help with the avatar, but I think the mpg program you're looking for is Fuelly.

Fuelly | Share and Compare Your MPG

Once you register over there, you can track your fuel economy online. After you have some data entered, you will be able to link that little doohicky here in your signature. Fuelly has instructions in the FAQ section.

Avatar pic might be too large.. Try editing and making it smaller?

It is 64 X 59 px and it is 4KB in size. I believe that meets the requirements

Can't see any reason it would not work.. I know, dumb question but once you see it uploaded, hitting the save changes button?

I have recreated the file to make sure it is within the guidelines.
When I choose import the file, the picture appears and the file name appears also. When I Save Changes it leaves the picture and says "No file selected".

Hmm being of "that age" it prompts me to test my avatar since it's been some time. Should be a demented (very) kitty to the left.
