Default Totaled - 1 less CRZ on the road

Last Wednesday a woman ran a red light going about 60 and slammed into the right rear of my car. The whole back end was pushed over to the drivers side a couple inches. The shop thought they would give it a try but there was too much damage and today I was informed it would have to be totaled. So mad, I got this about $2500 off MSRP with a 0.9% interest. Luckily I talked to Honda financial and they are going to help me secure a new one and transfer the loan over to the new car. I love Honda. Luckily I hadn't put on any thing aftermarket yet so I don't have to deal with that.

Problem now is all I can find is black and red which I hate. I had white and loved it. Honda said they might be able to secure one from out of state which would be awesome.

what a headache, not to mention the real ones I have now from her slamming into us

Ouch! Glad to hear you're okay and that Honda is remedying the situation.

Firstly, I hope you're all right. I hope that woman running the red light got a ticket for it, at minimum.

At least you're alright... Be thankful for that.

Be even more thankful that Honda is working on your side. You definitely had someone watching over you that made it happen this way.

Insurance... It probably won't go up. Stay calm, work it out, and you'll be back on the road in a new CR Z.

Wow, hope the headaches are all that hurts! Glad to hear that Honda is working with you, sounds like you're working with a good dealership also. Blue is cool too!

So sorry to read this, but thankful you're OK.
Glad your dealership / Honda are on your side.
Get the colour you're want - you should be as thrilled with the new one as you were with your last.

Sorry to hear about your accident. There's a white 2012 sitting on a local lot here, it's an EX. I am about to start a thread about it.

sorry to hear about your loss, glad that you're OK and that Honda is working with you..

My advice is to contact an attorney... even if you're not likely to sue... I've found things strangely get done a lot faster when you can drop a business card on a table and say "talk to my attorney about this"

good luck and keep us informed

Exco
