^ Yea, maybe.. Insurance rates and coverage is based on a designed 2 seater. Putting a passenger back there in a USDM CR-Z modified with back seats and getting into an accident with injuries might be ugly. Not only for the passenger, but also or the owner. If doing it for show - probably OK. If doing it to actually try and put people back there, I wouldn't recommend it..

Its a designed 4 seater.. But the belt would be a other problem I think.
My belts At the back are mounted at the point where you guys have a dome light.

Technically in the US its a 2 seater due to the regs, i don't however see the point in this thread as the car is wAAAAAy too small to take anyone but a legless midget in the back seats....

I have had a person in my backseat ONE time... She's never getting back there again... She is smaaall, but had to lay across the entire seat to avoid the roof and cramps in her feet anyway.I really can't see the plus-sides with those seats.
