The rear vertical glass window also gets dirty very quickly which has got me thinking about window treatments that are hydrophobic ( my previous CIVIC rear window had such a coating and worked well). How do you guys find the sides windows. I could get a silicon blade ( just for the windows as no way its going near the paintwork) but really dont want the hassle every time I come out to go to work or go home from work tbh. |

I had a small silicon blade for the rear vertical glass (usually use that to clear off rain water after driving on the road, so the dirty water won't dry up and reduce the visibility for the lower vertical window next time i drive). The small silicon blade also used for the side windows as well, but rarely needed it as I apply the rain repellent solutions first day after i pickup from dealership and apply that once in a while during the summer (just to increase the layer and prepare for the worse in winter).

I find is odd that Honda decided not to make the rear window hydrophobic like my Civic which also had no wiper. I can only assume that you cant put a demister element on a plastic window. The demister on the rear bottom on the CRZ is certainly better. I would love to use the following glass sealant but it requires a decent 15 degrees minimum temperature to cure properly and I have no garage Nanolex Urban |
