UK Registrations 2011

Hi Guys. Just surfing and came across the following figures for UK Registrations at the end of Q2 2011. There were a total of 2269 CR-Z's Taxed, and 6 declared SORN (statutory off road notification).
145 S
1346 Sports
778 GT's
Wonder what the Q3 figures will reveal when they are released........

Are SORN cars wrecked/salvage or track/racing only?

Just curious.

Edit: Googled it, looks like 6 are being tracked/raced?

SORN (statutory off road notification)
Basically is not legal on the roads, but with the owner's permission as they could be away for a while. Or in your point of view, used as a track car.

I wondered about the SORN's too. They must have been registered to be there in the first place, and would qualify for the first year zero rate road tax. There seems little point in SORN for the sake of £25 a year for the second year ........ A further clue: of the six, two are GT's and the other four are all Sports - no S's.

I wonder if the supercharged Mugen is one of those six.
