Road Trip

So I just got off a conference call where we were planning out the rest of our year and an opening came up for Orlando, FL in November so I volunteered. I took a short trip to NY last week and am looking forward to spending 16 quality hours in the CR-Z in a few weeks. Looks like it is about 970 miles door to door so I'm anxious to see how good my gas milage is on such a long journey. The last time I took this trip was earlier in the year and I had two things going against me...1) Was in a rented Minivan and 2) Had the wife, a 6 and a 3 year old (work puts me up in Disney) so stops were frequent. This time around I'm solo in a gas sipper so should be much more enjoyable.

I did well on my Canadian thanksgiving trip to Pennsylvania from Burlington Ontario, its about 800 miles round trip. I was averaging about 5L/100KM on my entire trip, about 47mpg, so two tanks and half or so was all I really needed...
