Lightbulb Eco Score System??

So I bought my lovely CR-Z over the summer and i absolutely love it, everyday it's like i find something new about it that i love, especially after joining this site and doing some reading..

I have one question tho.. What's the Eco Score thing that displays after you turn the car off? Can someone tell me how it works? And what happens when u fill all the bars and all the tree's are bloomed?? I'm almost done!! Got like 3/4 of the last bar to go and one tree left lol

When you fill it all you win!

I'm curious about this as well.

You get a trophy.

It doesn't unlock an additional 30hp or something mind-blowing like that

How are you guys filling up those bars? I drive very conservatively, although living on a long steep hill probably isn't helping me, and i think the most I've ever filled up is half of the first bar. Maybe its because the car only has 500 miles on it?

From driving, I noticed that you MUST drive it in Eco mode for the score to go up, but if you drive any other mode it brings it down. It goes up faster with long distance driving.

I got the trophy once and it was when I noticed the trophy at the last second. After that, I just can't get it anymore..

Thats not true at all...I drive in sport mode only...never put it in eco unless I am trying to show a friend on how slow it makes the car...and I am on second set of trees omw to third!

Does the score just keep "building up" so to speak? I always assumed your score represented how you drove from point A to point B and resets once you turn off the car, but if its an accumulation over time, then i guess i can see why my new car gets such a low eco score.

The bar is cumulative - I filled it up all the way somewhere between 4-5k

As for day-to-day: Number of trees is how good your trip was, number of leaves is just which level you're currently at - so filled up with 1 leaf trees or 3 leaf trees are really the same thing.
