My CR z is only 3 weeks old and some idiot cut me off and ran me off the road. jumped the curb and blew the tire. Its at the dealer for a new tire, bearing and who knows what else ( I'll get the full damage report later today). No body damage at all but it sure sounded horrible driving it to the dealer. I could cry.

I'm sorry. Glad you don't have any body damage, but again, sorry that the tire and bearing is messed up.

Sorry to hear that. It never ceases to amaze me how much disrespect people have on the road, whether it is for fellow drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, equestrians, etc. I hope insurance covers it; and I hope you were at least able to remember the license plate so that you can throw the book at them.

That's horrible. They'll fix the car up for you. I was hit and dragged by a dump truck once (my Integra); after the repairs, as good a new.

If you can spare a smile... and they say the CR-Z blind spot is bad!

Very annoying + I share your pain. However,maybe your good luck will continue. Not only no personal injury but if no car parts to be replaced to complete repairs, then should be ok. I'm still waiting on an internal panel coming from Japan since beginning of August after, like you, another vehicle smashed into my 5 week old parked car causing extensive damage.

I got run off the road, too. Luckily there was a large shoulder for me to drive on, but I was in the fast lane, some lady flys over across all the lanes of traffic, to the fast lane, almost into the side of my car. I held down my horn, she kept coming, there were cars in front of and behind me.. I had no option but to pull further left into the shoulder. I had my horn held down for a long time, and she never once looked over. There were 2 big semi's near by, and they saw what was happening and both started merging right to get out of the way of the impending accident. scary.. I hate ppl..

I love my CRZ, but have to admit that sometimes it goes unnoticed by other drivers. Not sure if it's a function of the small size or low profile but it seems I've had more situations of people pulling out in front of me, ignoring me, etc. than with any previous car I have owned.

YAAHOOO! I got my car back and it was only a new tire and alignment!!! no bad bearing or damage to suspension etc. I think I'm going to invest in a truck horn tho, that wimpy little roadrunner horn doesn't command much authority.
