Default Poll: Tire Pressure

My car started complaining about tire pressure, all tires were around 26.

This got me curious what people use?

31-33 because my sensors have went off even at 29 and it gets annoying.

I run the stickers at 40+ psi for less rolling resistance and more predictable handling.

The tires I have on at present are max 50 psi so I just run 45 to be safe and hopefully lessen the blow from bigger wheels.

I still have the factory Bridgestones on the car, and run them at 35 psi cold. First "cool" weather we got, tpms light came on but by the time I got off the freeway and to a gas station to check them, light had gone off and they were at 32. None of the other cars seem to have sensors that are, well, this sensitive

edited to add - I had problems with mine early on in ownership and had to eventually take it to Honda to have the system reset

6MT software update done yesterday. Dealer said he set the tire pressure to 30 psi all 4 tires !!
Iv'e heard that most auto makers set the tire pressure to a comfort vs safety pressure.

Low enough so that the ride is not too hard but,
at the expense of better traction / handling at a higher pressure !!?

Mine came with Dunlop tires Toronto, Canada

As always, I trust the manual over other 'experts' and keep it at the factory suggested levels.
