Question Phone isn't supported?

So I got a new phone, Samsung Galaxy S II, and the CRZ won't play it (Pandora) through the USB. It's saying that it's not supported. Pandora works with the iPhone connected through the USB. Any ideas on how to fix it, other than trade in for the iPhone?

I could be wrong but im guessing it doesn't support android phones because it won't play mine (Motorola atrix) through the usb either. I just use the aux port.

Android phones are supported as "mass storage devices", similar to a USB flash drive. So if you have music files on your phone or memory card, it could probably play those, but music from any apps would need to be done through the aux jack/headphone jack on the stereo/phone.

*big sad face* I guess it's not a big deal, but that does kinda suck. Hopefully the aux port will work with Pandora! Thanks you guys

^ that might not be a bad idea - There could be software updates that are not necessarily advertised which could address compatibility issues.

Aux (miniphono to miniphono) will work fine for Pandora. Not counting that type of streaming content, you could probably find a used ipod around for the superior interface or use a flash drive.

Thanks to Colin for Chiming in.. So Honda is not providing any un-advertised updates to its software allowing for the newer tech to work with the onboard Stuff??

Wondering if going from my 1stGen Iphone to a 4s going to work? Hoping..

I have the iPhone 4 and it works fine through the USB. I would think you'd be fine with the 4s.

It's a shame that we have the best of both worlds out there (Android and iPhone), but our cars aren't compatible with both.

Hopefully there's an update! Keep us posted.
