That has happened to me on my android phone. The manual says that error code means the device isn't compatible... which is just crap.
I turned the car off and on, and it was fine after. I assume turning the nav unit off/on will do the same thing (I have EX).

With IOS, I have found that after playing around with a game - especially one of the larger and graphic intense non native - that I have to do a hard reboot or otherwise it impacts other apps - both 3rd party and native. Might have something to do with it?

![]() No, but seriously - could be interfering with the actual IPOD native app and its ability to establish comms with the USB connection. Might be worth it to try and reboot the IPOD before you take it out to the car. Worth a try?
