Default Fog lights

Am I the only dumb one here??? I've had the car for 9 mos now and just realized there's a separate switch to turn on the fog lights. I assumed they came on somehow with the other lights. Thought I'd post this just in case there were other poor souls out there.

Did you REALLY want an answer to that question?
(actually, the way the stalks are hidden behind the steering wheel, it is a good comment). Who knows what else we'll find back there, in a few more months? Maybe I should go spelunking behind the wheel tonight, just in case!

I found the air vent, and then had to look up what the heck it was. So cool.
No pun intended

I knew the switch was there, but just didn't care. How many of us really use our fog lights or even know when they should be used?

I've had three cars with fog lights and only found them useful one time when I got caught in a blizzard.

Agreed - A bad experience in heavy snow is the reason I will only buy a car equipped with fogs from now on (even though I don't expect to be snowmobiling in my CR-Z).
But it depends on where you drive - in town, its for show only. My commute is 14 miles of country roads, and its deer rutting season!

took me a week or 2 after i bought the car until i realized that too. now i just leave the foglight switch to on and the headlight to auto. now they both turn on and off together and only when needed.
