Default Does it go well in the snow?

I live in NE Ohio where we get our fair share of snow in the winter and i was wondering if anyone had experience driving their CRZ in the snow?

Here's a good thread:
Driving In Snow

I'm in Cleveland, bought this car last December, and spent a decent amount of time in the snow with it. I think what finally made my decision was on the one terrible day, when Downtown took 3-4 hours to clear out. I hadn't bought the CR-Z yet, and my wife picked me up after work (after I walked about 40 blocks to meet her, because I could walk faster than the traffic was going). Things finally started moving, and on a cross street, we saw a Smart car making its way along.

I decided there that if a Smart car could brave an Ohio winter, the CR-Z could too!

I don't know exactly where you're at of course - I live a bit south and west of the snow belt, but at the edge of the Cuyahoga River valley, so my snowfall totals are still a bit higher than for much of the county. I never had any trouble, though I am considering snow tires for this season, just to be safe.

Haha! I used to drive a smart car before I got my CR-Z. It did just fine in Minnesota winters once we put on snow tires. I just ordered a set of wheels and snow tires for both of our Hondas.

I was happy to see that TireRack now offers a set of 15" Steel Wheels for the CR-Z. No point in spending money on fancy alloys in winter.

^ Climactic phenomenon that, thanks to Global Warming, none of us will have to worry about much longer. Who cares about Polar Bears, anyway? Excuse me, I have to go outside and idle my SUV for a few hours, so its good and ready when I leave the office!

the TLDR version:

Get Actual Winter Tires and you'll be fine.

Moved from Pennsylvania to Florida 20+ years ago. Snow, isn't that the white stuff that falls from the heavens its been a while since that stuff has fallen on a vehicle of mine. It snowed here like 60 years ago.
