With the amount of salt they use around here I'm not to worried about how the wheels look this time of year.

Mine are significantly darker than Scottie's, and I had mine next to James' car who has stock tails and there was virtually no difference in output.

Anyone worried about the law? I am friends with a bail bondsman and he told me that I already have a better chance of getting pulled over because I have a newer car (can pay the fine vs jail time).

I have a tinted plate cover on now, and I've been pulled over, for other reasons and it wasn't brought up, but I waited to get nailed for the cover because he couldn't get me for anything else.

I had a tinted plate cover for a few months and nobody ever said anything. Then all of a sudden I get pulled over for it specifically. Twice. In the same week. So I took it off because it wasn't worth the $115 or so every time.

They will pull you here for a plate cover long before they will for the lights.

Thats why I opted to go with a film like Lamin-x instead of spraying the lights like people do. if a cop pulls me over i can pull them off on the spot if I want to and avoid issues. I've driven past cops several times and no issue so far.
