Default Trunk button Freezing!!?

I am not sure it's just my car but sometimes my trunk button freezes, (yeah it's cold here in Ottawa, Canada but not cold enough yet) I have to try couple times to get it working and it feels like it's frozen. anybody have that problem yet?

Been down to -20 deg celcius here, and the only thing that didn't work were the headlight washers. They didn't take any permanent damage from being frozen though. I also noticed that when the car was sitting outside in that cold weather the seatbelt warning "beeper" thing got all distorted. Funny, and also no permanent damage.

Electronics do seem to slow down a bit in the cold. My navi unit takes a bit longer to display the map. It loads 1/4 of the screen at a time when it's cold. It's normal.

The trunk button may be faulty, though. If it gets worse take it to the dealer for warranty repair.

Not the button, but moisture making the rubber seal stick is what is happening to me.

yes, I think that's what's happening to me too. Rubber seal seems to be freezing so I have to heat it with my fingertips(?) to get it working.. I wonder if the dealer can do anything about this...

There are a few products you just apply to the seals that help. My brain isn't working this morning, so I can't remember what I used. I use it on the door seals as well.

I spray a water displacement like WD40 on a rag and wipe down all the rubber seals. That keeps the moisture of and helps A LOT.

I am not sure your Navi slows down because of the cold. Actually, the lowest the temperature, the fastest the electronics work.

Screen response time slows down in cold resulting ghosting of previous screens.
it's normal for any electronics with LCD screens.
