Oh I have a story for this thread:

I was at the dealers last month picking the car up. I was sitting inside signing the paper work while the salesman was photocopying my license etc. A guy walks in and starts asking to see a salesman and my one walks out after finishing the copying. The salesman asked how he could help and the guy says "I am interested in the blue CR-Z parked outside." The salesman tells him that I have just bought it and he gets upset saying that he has travelled all the way up from east London (where I live) to look at (and maybe buy) that car.

Now I am sort of scared that he will find my car parked outside my house and try to steal it while I am at work...

Bought mine Sept 11 this year.

Get asked all the time, "What MPG are you getting?"

Was driving at a normal pace yesterday and had a car come FLYING up to me and got next to me and gave me a ... I look closer and he is in an identical CR-Z to mine...

A few weeks ago, I was stopped in the left turn lane, and saw in my rearview a clean modded red 370Z rolling up very slowly in the far right lane. It rolled past me and came to a stop at the light. Driver's window rolled down, and the guy stuck his arm out and gave a solid . The light turned green, and as I drove past him, I smiled and returned the favor.

A few days later, I was pumping gas...I had to back into the only free pump at the station. As I got out, I noticed the passenger in the SUV behind me was staring. Ppl like to stare, so I didn't pay much attention and proceeded to pump gas. As they finished, the guy and his girl pulled up alongside me, and the guy rolled down his window and told me how nice my CR-Z was, and asked how much, if it's a 2012, and a bunch of other stuff before finally driving off saying, "it's bad-ass, man."

Also have had my neighbor tell me as I pulled up in front of my house, "man, your car looks fast even when it's not moving."

Walked out of Home Depot to two people standing beside my car with their faces pressed against the windows to see the interior. I just kinda walked up like o.O "Hello... what's up?". I then spent the next 10 minutes answering a lot of questions about the car. The biggest thing they were surprised at was the price, saying it looked much much more expensive than $20k

Funny story lol I actually got pulled over here the first week I got my cr-z the cop actually pulled me over and said is it your's? lol I replied yes. and he just asked me how much was it and stuff and that I was the first one he's seen with one haha long story short he told me he pulled me over because not a lot of 17 year olds at the time (last year) have a car like me. lol my neighbor just turned 19 and owns a 370z and my two old brother's one 19 has a 350 and the other 23 wrx ha (:

Living in a metropolis you get a lot of looks and questions. Just the other day, i pulled up to a red light and to the right of me were a bunch of elementary kids. One of them came over and i saw him looking inside my car through the corner of my eye. I turned to look at him and he said "cool car man" and did a quick walk around. Hahaha, gotta love punk a$$ kids.

Lol, I haven't got a Lada, I've got a CR-Z just like the rest of youse. XD

Apart from compliments from my co-workers and a couple others, people have thus far seemingly thought nothing of my humble little Z, not even some casual looks. Guess it's kinda mundane around these parts?

Oh well, I bought it for myself to enjoy, not the rest of the world, haha! XD
