One does wonder WHY such a low-cost item isn't stock on EVERY Honda made. I often wish mine had a locking glovebox!

I figure if someone breaks into a CRZ then they know what they're doing. They'd laugh at a glove box lock at that point. If they're just breaking in to ransack my car, I'd rather not get a broken glove box lock added to it. They can look in mine if they'd like. If they want my owner's manuals and car registration then I guess they can have it.

Most accidents happen in the back seat of a car.

My list is similar to many that have already been mentioned, but here's mine...

-The obsolete technologies STILL used in the audio/nav system (PCMCIA, 8-16bit graphics etc).
-The #%@!* nav nag screen!!! I understood the safety issue by the 80th time I pressed OK!
-The info display loves to be blank? Why cant it start back on the screen I last used?
-The car won't restart in the same mode you last were in.
-You have to blow 1/2 hr. dismantling the under-tray to change the oil filter! A small access panel directly underneath it would be nice!
-The light grey door panel fabric, headliner and seats... Impossible to avoid mystery stains.
-No gauges for voltage, oil pressure, and especially temp! You have no clue of a potential problem, only "idiot-light" emergency!

The main thing that erks me is, there seems to be like 38 different versions of this car all over the world! One country gets back seats, another country gets a panoramic sunroof, a few get power folding and/or tilting mirrors, only certain countries get the diffuser reflectors, and only some get an actual alarm system, others get backup sensors, etc etc etc!
Maybe if Honda built the same 3 trim levels for the whole world, they wouldn't be losing their asses on these cars?? And I guarantee they would be priced lower too.

Make no mistake, on the whole, I LOVE my CR-Z!!! Not a day goes by that I don't tell someone that couldn't care less, how much I love this car!!

There is an access panel that takes 2 minutes to remove. The only mode that can not be set to default is sport.

well i guess there are different models for different markets,In the USA (i'm only guessing here) 'they' would want you to buy american so alot of key standard mods you guys just will not get,in Europe they just charge you tax on everything so if you got the money you get whatever you want, yes i agree it does suck.but at least you get the aftermarket stuff for almost everything (and you can put it on),here in Portugal you can't even put 18's on its illegal, and if they stop you they take your car,and fine you,and its mission to get your car out...

hmm i think for me there are only 3 things that i would want to change. the blind spot, the fact that our front bumpers stick out so much and will rub everywhere specially when lowered but i even rubbed when i was stock height on some driveways and dips. and last but not least the lack of power, but atleast thats something we can do something about.

I don't like the 2000 millennium color seats, nor the lack of power. But what I dislike the most is after it rains, then dries all of the dirt and water builds up and dries on the rear bumper base, below the hatch handle. I am OCD clean about my car and then after it rains my car looks clean except for that area, it looks like it hasn't been washed in months. The only car that has ever done that for me.

Yeah that! I do not understand why the bottom of that opening, and the bottom of the side mirror covers, are not sloped slightly, to drain when the car is parked on level ground.

fix could be easy with a small drill bit? both at bottom center of mirror, and for the rear bumper.
