Also, I hardly ever use sport or Eco mode. I just usually forget its there. I drove around with Eco a few times and the car was such a drag. I felt like I was pushing it and it was giving everything I had to get the car moving. Not sure what people drive like where you guys are but here everyone is an wayyyyy to big of hurry and of you accelerate from a red light slow people ride you and beep like crazy. And sport mode seems to defeat the purpose of the car getting good gas mileage so I rarely use it. Am I the only one? |

I've never used voice commands or nav either... Because I don't have the nav system.
![]() My car is in Eco 95% of the time, and in sport the other 5%. I'd say I've spent an entire 5 minutes in Normal mode the entire time I've owned the car. |

The voice activatioin is cool for some things. Asking where the nearest coffee shop is, is great for road trips and such. Telling it to dial in 95.5 and have it repeat FAN SPEED, 1 is a bit annoying.
Normal = 90% ECO = 4% Sport = 1% I LOVE the responsivenss of sport, but I tend to drive more agressive using it and my milage dips from low 40s to mid 30s pretty quick. |

I use voice for climate and audio. Doesnt get easier than saying " temperature 75". I stay in normal 80% of the time. Econ in traffic bumper to bumper. Sport has such a touchy throttle that I use it for a power boost when needed.

Primary use of Voice Commands are for the blue tooth (Phone). Used frequently. Some for the NAV - Go Home.. and Audio functions.
90% Sport - after all, it is a Sport Hybrid.

Like Scotty, I use it all the time for my phone. If I'm using FM then I do use it to tune stations, too. When I first got the car I used it a lot more because I wasn't familiar with the temp controls and it seemed to work well for that.

98% sport 0.9% econ and normal only while it starts, first button I push is sport. Nav use all the time for directions , voice command not so often (mostly go home). Temp set at 68 auto - can't remember when I changed it last time. Lights on auto (sometime it gets annoying) but can live with it.
My mpg over the last 31K+ miles 37.x (I can get 40 if I use cc a lot but I like the sport mode) |

I'd use normal mode more if the steering was a bit firmer - as it is it's too over-assisted for me. Usually around town I put it in sport.
Econ is good for long highway trips with light traffic. I put it in normal or sport to pass though. |

I Average around 36 or so. But my daily drive back and forth to work is under 7 miles and on a twisty two lane road with 400-500ft elevation changes. No traffic and just 2 stop lights. Car doesn't really warm up until I pull into my parking place.
Only gets out on the highway maybe once a week. Lifetime MPH is showing and average of 32 Miles Per Hour. If was driving a car that was rated at under 30mpg, I would probably be getting something in the 20+ mpg range. It is all relevant. I have gotten over 40 in Sport (Cruise control) on a long highway ride. (Reason for Sport = elevation changes and not wanting to take 5+mph hits going up hills with traffic all around me) But not my normal daily driving routine. But - Back to topic..
