Default Soap Streak on Door After Washing

Anyone else having a problem where water slowly gathers under the windows and trickles down after washing your car? This happens to me every time and it leaves a sort of skum trace all the way down the side of my car on both sides. Its getting hard to get it to come off too. Wondering if anyone found a solution?

Not had that problem with mine - I get the standard drips from the door handle area and mirrors but going back over that after I finish drying the car and then drive it into the garage takes care of it. I'll be interested to see if others have the problem you're describing. Pictures might help too.

Use the pooling method to dry the car and then use a leaf blower to get in all the crevices. A guy named junkman2000 has a great series of videos on this and detailing on youtube.

Well, if you have a gravel driveway, I'd be very careful with that puppy. I'd rather not sandblast my car. Especially with modern Honda paint.

Below is an image of what I am talking about. It seems that the water gathers under the corner of the rear window right above the door handle and then trickles down into the door handle area and continues down the entire side of the car leaving an ugly line.

Mine does it from the driver side quarter glass, right behind the door handle recess, it makes me crazy! I'll have the car dry, then check it an hour later and its fine. Then the next morning the dried white crud streak is there, every time I wash it!! I might try the blower idea next time.

I have exactly the same problem, everytime I wash the car.

Usually I take the car to a standard auto car wash.

Same thing happens to me. I have the car detailed at my Honda dealership and that gets rid of the build up. It slowly returns after every wash. I think drying the inside of the door frame/roof drip rail immediately after washing might keep that from happening. Not sure though.
