Front plate on CRZ in WI

How many of you are running a front plate on your CRZ in WI? Have you been pulled over for not having one? I didn't have a front plate on my car here in WI until about a month ago. Yes, it is illegal to drive in WI without a front plate, but didn't have a single problem with it in over a year. From the day it left the dealership in late May 2011 until July 18, 2012. I drove past countless cops in the Milwaukee area and never got pulled over for not having one. I drive past a cop in a small town in central WI and get pulled over for not having one and funny part was, the car that was in front of me was going about 10 over the speed limit and I get pulled over. Thankfully I just got a warning. About 10 miles down the highway, I past another cop and he didn't pull me over for not having a plate. For those of you who might be reading this that live in WI know how the State Patrol can be and that's not very friendly and I passed several numerous times and nothing. Sorry if this seems like a rant (kind of is in a way), but I just find it odd.

When I had my miata I always just drove with it in the front window. I never got pulled over, even though it's supposedly illegal to not have a front plate in utah. I see about 30% of the cars without one, but I've never heard of anyone getting pulled over here without it.

I might just take it off now and see what happens around the Milwaukee area. It's those small towns you really need to worry about I think. They have nothing better to do.

I got a ticket for not having mine on while my car was parked.. jerks. It's still off though

its illegal in cali too. got this ADDED to my speeding ticket back in December for it being on my dash. zip tied it back on. got it signed off. took it off again. now it just sits in my "back seat". cuz im a rebel like that.

Dude he gave you crap cus it was on your dash?? That's ridiculous i didn't think they could get you for that.....looks like that idea is out of the question then, man i hate my front plate location.
