Default What more can you learn?

I'm looking to test drive a CR-Z this upcoming week, and I've been really immersing myself in learning about the car for the past week or so, partially because I'm falling in love with it sight unseen, and partially because I just love stumping the salesman on a car I'm looking at

What is the most obscure, least commonly known fact or piece of trivia on this car that you can think of?

The edge of the windshield is a special design that sits more flush than any other Honda.

Hondanews.com is a good source for specifications and design descriptions.

(1) I 'think' that the "Drag Coeficient" is 0.25 or 0.26. !!?

(thats low, low is good).

(2) The doors are the longest on any Honda.

(3) One of the Forum members got their CRZ up to 131 mph. On a slight down incline.

Honda reported top speed is 124 mph.

Don't forget the glove box a/c vent.

Also, during development of the CR-Z, Honda engineers were inspired by the Lotus Elise, VW Scirroco, and the Mini Cooper to achieve their performance goals.

Econ mode reduces engine power by 4%.

High curvature windshield and thin a-pillars give the CR-Z best forward visibility of any Honda.

Won't really be hard to win at "stump the salesperson". It seems that half of them, around here, were surprised that Honda even made this car. "You are looking for a CR-V?"
Enjoy your test drive!

Stumping the salesman on a CR-Z?! That will be easy. Here was my conversation at a Honda dealer.

Me: I've got a CR-Z (emphasis on 'Z')
Sales: How do you like it?
Me: Oh, it's great. I'm getting great mpgs
Sales: How much?
Me: About 40
Sales: Have you thought about a hybrid?
Me: Well....No. Bye.

How about the glove bx is airconditioned to keep a can of ?? cold?
How about the hand slot on the rear trunk lid so u dont leave prints on the outside?
How about the "bump" on the glass/ plastic of the headlites to divert wind drag away from the side view mirrors?

Ask them what CRZ actually stands for, carbon renaissance zero... I think
Also, whether this is intended design or not, the doors open slightly upwards so you don't scuff them on the pavement.

Close enough
Does that mean CR-V stands for Compact Renaissance Voluminous?
