It's sad, but that is what it looks like to me.
A while back, Honda confessed that specific imported models (CR-Z, Insight, and Fit) are not making money in North America because of the exchange rates. There is no financial reason for them to promote the cars. They are not giving them incentives and they are probably not planning many updates.

Honda has promised to continue offering these cars, but the bulk of production is going to those markets where they make a profit.

I had actually forgot about this car, hardly ever see them on the road. I was shopping for a WRX, then was talking w/ a co-worker about gas prices and it needing premium fuel and she said joking "You should buy a hybrid!", then I remembered the CR-Z and searched autotrader. Found a used one w/ the options and color I wanted, called the dealer and the drove 150 miles to buy it. Its my 6th Honda and 12th Japanese car (1 Toyota, 2 Acura's and 3 Subaru's), loved them all, expecially this one. Funny thing.....I work for Volkswagen!

CONGRATS! And,,,Welcome to our NightMare! I took a 20-year hiatus from Honda (and all foreign cars) 'til 3-mos ago. Had wanted this "Z" for nearly 2 years but hated to give up my gas-guzzlin' & beloved Dodge RAM HEMI Rumble Bee....she had the HP, she had the looks, she had the room & attention of many. She just didn't get good gas mileage. Now I'm getting 3-times the MPGs & loving my 1st Hybrid! Owned several Hondas between '82 and '92 (including two CRXs) and have recently returned to the Honda fold! Amen.

Maybe I just don't get the whole thing, but I'd never want to drive around in a yellow truck that said "Rumble Bee" on the side of it. I laugh every time I see those.

Mine was a RED 4-door, very unique--never seen one like it--anywhere. It sold a week after I traded it for $5k more than they gave me, but such is life.
