Interesting to know. Closest I've come is yesterday I filled up when the light came on with 37 to go on the range. It took 8.7 gallons, so that would be just about right.

Something doesn't seem right. 10 of my past 13 fills are over 10 gallons, and I've never run my range to 0.
The filler neck follows a weird path in this car that lets gas foam up and trips the shutoff, while not as bad as my Fit, if you stop at the first click, or 5 for that matter, the tank is not actually full. My past fills, in gallons: 11.017 11.006 10.827 10.757 10.607 10.58 10.549 10.511 10.317 10.167

The pump *does* click off between 8.xx and 9.xx usually. I'm just saying if you stop there, it's not actually full, it's the foam from the gasoline tripping the shutoff. I like having the extra 50-80 miles of range on every tank, so I take an extra minute or two to trickle fill it until it actually stops.
