My understanding from the manual is that this setting effects the timing, meaning that Max means that when it is dark enough to indicate lights are needed the delay will be the longest. Example: Max may mean 5 seconds before lights are turned on and Min may mean 1 sec.

The setting is called "Auto Light Sensitivity". Sensitivity is how sensitive the system is with regards to turning the lights on when the conditions are met. MAX sensitivity would be to turn the lights on as soon as the conditions are met. MIN sensitivity would be to wait and ensure that conditions persist for a period of time before turning the lights on.

Read up on this a little, owners manual doesn't say that you can turn off the running lights. I kinda wish there was a way to actually turn them off during the day. I set my stick to "off" and they stay on during broad daylight. Don't know why really but it bothers me. Guess I'm used to older cars where you had more control?
